About Us

Baptist Mobile Health Ministry Inc. of Georgia

People living in extreme poverty or experiencing homelessness are limited in their options.

If you’ve lived through it, you know what we mean. Addiction, mental illness, or just a run of bad luck can leave individuals and families without safe housing, reliable transportation, or access to doctors or dentists when they need it. The Baptist Mobile Health Ministry saw a profound need when it came to medical and dental care for the underserved in the state of Georgia, and sought to solve the problem in ways that brick-and-mortar clinics couldn’t: by bringing the services to the people who needed them. BMHM enables Georgia Baptist Mission Board churches, associations, or organizations with which they partner to accomplish this goal. The service is rendered by medical and dental professionals and lay volunteers local to the project site at no charge to the client.

Help us spread the Word

Ask anyone who is living with housing or food insecurity what the most difficult aspect of this situation is, and many of them will tell you, it’s how quickly you can lose hope. BMHMF strives to bring hope back to individuals and communities by restoring their health. We serve those over the age of 18, whether it’s getting high blood pressure under control, or treating a painful cavity, our ministry needs help and support to promote awareness of our services, activities, and whereabouts in Georgia.
